More About Hotel Paradip International

The "Hotel  Paradip International" (HPI) and its subsidiaries are collectively known as HPI group and Palaces and is recognised as one of Paradip's largest and finest hotel company. Incorporated by Dr. Kalilash C. Maharana the company opened its first property, Paradip International hotel, Paradip In 1994.

PERSONAL ACHIEVEMENT  OF Dr. KAILASH .C. MAHARANA,MANAGING DIRECTOR of HOTEL PARADEEP INTERNATIONAL

 
   Dr. Kailash C. Maharana was born on 21^st July 1954 at Kujang in the coastal belt of Odisha towards east of Cuttack near about 70 kilometers. The urge of his dynamic leadership had inspired him to take part in NCC, Scout, and Sports & Drama in his school, college carrier & stay ahead of his friends. After successful completion of his Intermediate in Science joined in the Ministry of Defence.It was a rare opportunity for him as a teen age to test the spirit of velour & voluntarism, courage & hardship to involved in the Indo-Pak War in the year 1971.This adult military adventure has heaped on him medal like Sangram,25^th anniversary etc.

 However destiny had other assignments for him. After a brief tenure he chooses to take voluntary retirement from service only to serve the community in multiple capacities, in between he has completed Industrial Management, A man for ever expanding vision & enterprise, Sri Maharana got busy with his new carrier of producing marine foods & products at Port town of Paradeep. M/S Rana Construction was his leading next project which was the leading construction group in the locality & also Mr. Maharana became the president of Builders Association for long 11 years. Treating people decently & amusingly often earns him a competive advantage in Society of Friends & foes. During his president ship he has started / completed two Mahadev Temple, One in PPL township & the other in Nuabazar, Paradeep.  Simultaneously started a Hotel project named “Paradeep International at Paradeep Port associated him in the hotel industries. Sri Maharana never sacrifices the ethics of his profession, honesty & punctuality constitutes a major organ of his character. He is a long journey of enterprise from hotel industry he made a leap in to producing commercial odia movies like “Mahasangram” & “To Aakhi Mo Aaina”. He is also got the award from Chalachitra Jagata, Chitrapuri, Banichitra & other such sponsor organization as a producer & artist also.

 Apart from the business & commercial field Sri Maharana became the president of Rotary Club of Paradeep in the year 2004-05 & involved with public service by providing drinking water in the salty coastal area, medical service with medicine to needy people, plantation & blood donation camp etc, he has also got best President Award from Rotary International in his tenure, Besides his keen interest in the taking part in the public service Sri Maharana has provided a Library to Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya located at Samagola, kujang with a donation of large number of books, journals & periodicals to boost the knowledge of the students.

  As a sportsman he is an outstanding Golfer till today also. He is Golfing wherever is going in the National & International label where Golf Club is available. He has awarded several prizes in the tournament like All Odisa, MCL, and Signature ICICI Bank & Paradeep Port. In addition of normal duty , he is also a life member of “BHARAT SWABHIMAN TRUST “

 An active & dynamic person Sri Maharana moves ahead with new Hotel projects in the entry point of Paradeep Port town side of N.H-5A named “Paradeep Inn” with arrangements of 5 star categories. The hotel has stared in the year 2007 & it is running smoothly. An enviable sense of duty & commitment him every where amidst source of engagement the agenda upper most on him mind is his sincere concern by not wasting a single day without thought of new projects, Recently by 1^st May 2013 sri Maharana felicited in the ‘SRAMIK DIBAS’ by Biju Pattnaik Industrial Workers Union/Bhumiputra Bahumukhi Samabaya Samiti as a noncontroversial Industrialist. By 6^th May 2013,he got RASHTRIYA VIKAS RATNA AWARD from Economic Groth Society of India New Delhi for his achievements. His name has recommended by EGSI for Global Achievers Development Award.

 On the 19^th October 2013 INDIAN ORGANISATION FOR BUSINESS REASERCH AND DEVELOPMENT , NEW DELHI presented him INDO-NEPAL RATAN AWARD for his excellent performance and outstanding contribution for progress of nation and worldwide in KATHMANDU , NEPAL. In the same day ECONOMIC GROWTH SOCIETY OF INDIA presented him NELSON MANDELA PEACE INTERNATIONAL AWARD on the occasion of international seminar at KATHMANDU, NEPAL. He has honoured in Panjim,(GOA) ,“ STAR OF ASIA AWARD FOR BUSINESS EXCELLENCE” .

 The Senate and Board Of Directors of OPEN INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY , conferred qualifying the degree DOCTOR OF HONOURS to him on Dtd 7^th June 2014 at Kuala lumpur , Malaysia as Dr KAILASH C MAHARANA ( D.Hons ).
